Grip Team Test – 5 min Test
In teams of three, accumulate as many gym lengths as possible while walking and holding a 45# plate (men) or 25# plate (women) in each hand. You must “crush” the plate from the side and you cannot hold it through the center hole. One athlete works at a time and the team order cannot change. Athletes can rest along their length but cannot advance unless they are holding both plates off the floor. There and back is 1 point. Scale the weight down only if absolutely necessary. Team names and team scores should be reported to the white board…we will have a separate column for team scores today.
