Dear Members,

I believe something needs to be changed with the way that our classes clean up their equipment. CFS is a very tidy place and our members are very good at cleaning up their equipment, which is great. Sometimes members will complete the workout very quickly and begin to clean up while others are still working out, which is fine. However, I have been seeing finished members sometimes encroaching on the personal space of members who are still working out and that is not ok. If you need to get into someone’s area to put your equipment away, then please do not put your equipment away at that time. In no way shape or form is it ok for you to squeeze by, hoover around or wait for a break in the action to pass through their area. This is distracting and lessens the experience for members who need longer to complete the work. If there is a member b/w you and your equipment’s home, then please leave the equipment out and the coaching staff will take care of it. With that being said, if you look at the WOD and believe that it might take you a little longer to complete, please attempt to set up your equipment toward the front or middle of the gym and not toward the back where we store all the equipment. Likewise, if you think you’ll finish early, please set up toward the back of the gym when possible so you can clean up without having to interfere with another’s workout.
