For an Rx Strict Toes to Bar, an athlete must place a box just behind the plane of the pull-up bar AND place a few plates on top of the box to prevent it from shifting during the WOD. This box will prevent the athlete from generating an efficient kip. Athletes are allowed to generate as much momentum as they wish to during the Rx strict T2B so long as (1) the box is placed correctly, (2) both feet touch the pull-up bar at the same time and (3) both heals cross the plate of the pull-up bar at the bottom. Those are the only requirements for Rx Strict T2B today.
