30 Power Snatch (135/95) Rx+ 155/105

 

Athletes, set up position and an appropriate first pull is very important today. There are athletes who can complete this workout in under 2 minutes but they achieve that amazingly fast time by completely compromising their set up position and their first pull. Specifically, athletes who go sub 2 minutes on “Isabel” are likely utilizing a very high hip position to save time. If you do Isabel with sound form, you’ll be sore in your entire backside of your body, however, if you do 30 Snatches today with high hips, only your low back will be sore tomorrow and you’ll have to struggle thought the rest of the week with a tight back.
