Skill/Strength

Strict Press – Work up to a heavy single from the rack

Dmitry Klokov with a 356# Strict Press. In the video below you can see what using your legs will do to increase the amount of weight you can get overhead!

With a little help from the knees and hips, Dmitry lifts 495# overhead with a Push Press. That’s a lot of leg assistance…Cool!

Athletes, if you cannot get upside down yet, think about doing a DB Z-Press…super fun and really great.
